Dr. Rakesh Sambaraju is a driven problem-solver with fifteen years’ expertise in optical communications across diverse applications and roles. His passion lies in finding solutions that enable the commercialization of cutting-edge technologies, all while simplifying complex concepts to engage customers and solve problems effectively. Rakesh excels at helping customers translate their requirements into effective solutions built upon long-lasting, robust and innovative technologies.
Currently serving as the Director of Sales and Technology at Vitex, Rakesh combines his professional experiences, technical prowess, commercial acumen and a warm, inviting personality to make a significant impact as a speaker, advisor and applications engineer. His knowledge and technical contributions have been instrumental in developing several patent-pending products (including the award-winning, patent-pending 100G BiDi breakout AOC), contributing or helming over 70 academic, conference and journal publications and reviewer for industry publications. His voluntary involvement in multiple standardization bodies showcases his dedication to advancing the field.
